On July 1, Tennessee enforced a new law targeting distracted drivers by restricting cell phone use. Cell phone use - including talking - while driving is no longer allowed in Tennessee.
Motorists will be issued a fine if seen holding a cell phone while behind the wheel. The new law is the state's attempt to address the high rate of phone-related accidents.
